Album Redesign

The objective of this project was to design an album cover for Twice, the popular K-pop girl group, for one of their upcoming albums. The design reflected the group's identity, music style, and target audience while aligning with their visual branding.The design explored creative direction based on Twice's past aesthetics, their concept, and recent trends in K-pop album artwork. It also incorporated considerations of color schemes, typography, imagery, and mood to resonate with their fanbase and music genre.

The album cover design for Twice was approached with the goal of balancing their established branding with fresh, modern elements to create something visually striking yet true to their identity. Twice's brand is known for its vibrant and playful style, which was reflected in the use of bright, bold colors and dynamic typography. The design also aimed to resonate emotionally with the fanbase by incorporating visual cues that conveyed the album's theme—whether it was empowerment, love, or fun.I drew inspiration from Twice’s music videos and past album artwork, combining elements that fans have come to expect while ensuring the design felt contemporary and relevant. Through multiple iterations, I refined the cover to balance the playful, energetic vibe of the group with a professional and polished final product. This project strengthened my skills in designing for a specific target audience while adhering to a strong brand identity.
