Magazine Development and Brand Design
The objective of this project was to create a self-made magazine titled Next Pixel, dedicated to exploring diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the gaming industry. The magazine serves as a platform to showcase the ongoing efforts and challenges faced by diverse groups in gaming, with a focus on underrepresented communities, LGBTQ+ representation, accessibility, and the role of women and minorities in gaming culture, development, and leadership.The design of Next Pixel incorporated a modern and inclusive aesthetic, featuring engaging visuals, impactful articles, and interviews with key figures in the DEI movement within gaming. The magazine aimed to break stereotypes and encourage positive change in an industry historically known for its lack of diversity.

Next Pixel was created as a platform to address a critical gap in the gaming industry: the need for greater diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The gaming world, while expansive and influential, has long struggled with inclusivity, often overlooking marginalized groups.
By creating this magazine, I aimed to shine a light on the underrepresented voices, communities, and stories that deserve more visibility in the gaming space.The title Next Pixel was chosen to reflect the ongoing evolution of the gaming industry, where new technologies, platforms, and communities are continuously emerging. "Pixel" symbolizes the digital world of gaming, while "Next" signifies the future—an inclusive future where DEI is woven into the fabric of gaming culture.
Through this name, I sought to create a sense of anticipation and forward-thinking, inviting readers to look toward a more inclusive and diverse gaming world.The design of the magazine itself reflects these principles. I chose a modern, clean aesthetic with bold typography to ensure readability and impact. The layout uses dynamic imagery and color schemes that represent various cultures, identities, and communities in gaming.
